Teen Girls Prepare for Heels and Reels Fishing Tournament

A group of thirty teen girls will put aside high heels on Saturday, October 13th and pick up fishing reels instead. With expert guidance and mentoring provided by local Southwest Florida boat owners and professional anglers, teen girls (at risk) from the PACE Center for Girls of Collier County and the River Park Community in Naples, FL will be introduced to the enjoyment of sport fishing while participating in the first annual Freedom Waters Foundation’s (FWF) Heels and Reels Fishing Tournament.

A variety of dedicated volunteers have signed on to donate vessels, time, experience and knowledge while mentoring the teens through fishing. The tournament kicks off at 8 am and concludes at 2 pm, departing and returning to The Naples Boat Club, 909 10^th Street S. Naples, FL 34102.
